Questions restaurant owners ask, and our answers

We answer with what we know, and say plainly what has not been decided yet. If a question remains, the demo is the best place to ask it.

The model and pricing

What is the price of a Qweelvo subscription per branch?

A Qweelvo subscription costs 5,999 Saudi riyals per branch per year, or 599 Saudi riyals per branch per month, excluding 15% VAT. Today there is one plan, counted per branch, and Qweelvo takes no commission on orders. Request a demo and the team will work out with you when the subscription pays for itself, using your restaurant’s own numbers.

Does Qweelvo take a commission on orders?

No. Qweelvo takes no commission on orders, however many there are and whatever their value. What you pay Qweelvo is the fixed subscription per branch.

How does the subscription pay for itself?

Every order that moves from the delivery apps to your direct channel saves you its commission. How many orders it takes to cover the subscription depends on your restaurant’s numbers: the calculator on the pricing page gives you an estimate from your own figures, and we work it out precisely with you in the demo.

Do I have to leave the delivery apps?

No. Delivery apps are an important channel for winning new customers. Qweelvo works alongside them: it gives your regulars a way to order from you directly, so you are not relying on the apps alone.

What is the difference between Qweelvo and delivery apps?

The difference is that delivery apps charge a commission on every order and keep the customer relationship, while Qweelvo gives the restaurant a direct ordering channel in its own name, with no commission on orders, a fixed subscription per branch, and a customer relationship that belongs to the restaurant. Qweelvo does not replace the apps: they introduce the restaurant to new customers, and the direct channel is for its regulars.

The product

What is Qweelvo?

Qweelvo is a Saudi platform that gives each restaurant its own direct ordering channel under its own brand. Customers order from the restaurant’s link or from a QR code, the order reaches the Sunmi device at the branch, and it is handed over by pickup, curbside or delivery. Qweelvo takes no commission on orders, runs on a fixed subscription per branch, and suits single restaurants and chains.

What is a direct ordering channel for a restaurant?

A direct ordering channel is an ordering page that carries the restaurant’s own name, logo, colours and menu, where customers order straight from the browser, with no intermediary and no app to download. With Qweelvo the page opens from the restaurant’s link or a QR code, the customer pays online, the order reaches the Sunmi device at the branch, and the customer relationship stays with the restaurant.

What do I get with Qweelvo?

A direct ordering page in your restaurant’s identity (your logo, colours and menu), QR ordering, a Sunmi device at each branch that receives orders and prints their receipts, pickup, curbside and delivery, online payment that goes straight to your bank account, e-invoicing, and monthly numbers that show what you gained.

Does my customer need to download an app?

No. The customer orders from the browser on their phone, through your restaurant’s link or a QR code. They sign in with their mobile number and a one-time code, with no password.

How does QR ordering work?

The customer scans the QR code with their phone, and the restaurant’s menu opens in the browser with no app to download. They choose what they want and send the order, which reaches the Sunmi device at the branch at once. The code goes wherever the customer meets the restaurant: on the table, at the cashier and on order bags, and the same link goes in the restaurant’s social accounts. It is the same menu customers see on the restaurant’s Qweelvo link, and the customer signs in with a mobile number and a one-time code.

Where does the money from orders go?

The amounts customers pay online go straight to the restaurant’s bank account through the payment provider, and do not pass through a Qweelvo account. The restaurant’s cash stays under its own control. Transfer timing is set by the payment provider, and we explain it in the demo.

How does delivery work?

Qweelvo is integrated with more than one delivery provider, so your restaurant is not tied to a single one. The customer can also pick the order up at the branch or have it brought to their car.

What devices do I need at the branch?

One handheld Sunmi device at each branch, which we supply. The order appears on it the moment it arrives, and when your team accepts it the device prints a receipt with the order’s details. We go through the device details in the demo.

Do the invoices meet Saudi requirements?

E-invoicing in Qweelvo is prepared for Saudi requirements. We do not claim certification from any authority, and if you have a specific requirement, ask us in the demo so we can answer precisely.

Does Qweelvo suit restaurant chains?

Yes. The platform is built for a single restaurant and for restaurant chains: a company with one brand or more, and each brand with its branches. The subscription is counted per branch.

Getting started

How do I start?

Request a demo from this site. Our team will contact you to set a time. In the demo we show you how the platform works for your own restaurant and work out with you when the subscription pays for itself. The demo commits you to nothing.

How long does it take to set up my restaurant?

We do not announce a fixed timeline, because it varies with the size of your menu and the number of your branches. In the demo we look at your restaurant’s situation and give you a realistic estimate.

Is the service available in my city?

We are starting with restaurants in Jeddah and Madinah. If your restaurant is in another city, write to us and we will tell you plainly whether we can serve you now.

Data and customers

Who has the relationship with my customers?

Whoever orders through your direct channel is your own restaurant’s customer, and the relationship between you is direct. We go through the details of the data you see in the demo.

How do I know my customers really moved to my channel?

Your monthly report shows how many customers moved to your direct channel and how much you saved. The numbers decide, not impressions.

How do you handle data privacy?

We use customer data to run the service for your restaurant. The details are in the privacy policy on this site, and if you have a specific question, write to us.
